Kuggaviksgården ‒ Åsa vandrarhem STF is a youth hostel in Åsa 18 km south of Kungsbacka. About 50 km from Gothenburg and 30 km from Varberg. Located beside a family beach. Part of the hostel complex was formerly the Solvik children’s summer camp.
Check-in: 3-6 pm. Check-out: 11 am.
Kuggaviksgården is owned by IOGT-NTO, Sweden's leading temperance society, and provides a guaranteed drug- and alcohol-free environment. Have fun without drugs and alcohol – what could be better?
We offer pension-standard or hostel-standard accommodation. You can book breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our vision is to provide good value for families, small businesses, school classes or associations. Kuggaviksgården has newly renovated rooms for courses, conferences, staff meetings, school trips and club gatherings.
In the summer of 1999 we moved into Solvik, a newly renovated former children’s summer camp. The original environment has been preserved but upgraded to modern standards. The rooms are modern with private shower and toilet. The structure maintains its original 1920s feel.
Åsa has long attracted visitors from Göteborg, who were quick to take advantage of the railroad that reached outside the city. Many classic turn-of-the-century seaside resorts on the West Coast still thrive today, like a strip of pearls along the coastline.
